Keith and I originally attempted to sell our house “For Sale By Owner”.  Jan knocked on our door and from the moment I met her I appreciated her professionalism and her motivation to get our house sold in such a tough market.  She helped us with setting the right price point to get the maximum exposure within the first couple weeks of listing on MLS.  There were approximately 12 other homes for sale in our subdivision, many were short sales, and the house next door was selling for almost $50K less than ours.  Jan was able to negotiate the sale of our home quickly and we were able to sell for slightly higher than the appraised value.  Jan also provided us with other professional referrals that we hired and we were pleased with them as well.  Jan provides a “total” solution to selling and buying your home in tough economy.

Working with Jan Hungate was great. She was there all the way. Her marketing skills are second to none. When she did the photos and work up on our Brandon home, I called her as soon as I saw it and remarked it looks so good I want to buy it!! And I already own it. She was there every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for a more caring realtor. I recomend her to all the people I know that are thing of selling there homes. At this point I think she's going to become the official realtor of Old Town Brandon HOG. Even months after the sale she stopped by to see how everything was going. My wife and I had to sell our house due to a relocation.  We didn't realize we were about to be caught in the worst housing market in 70 years. The market continued to drop more quickly than our asking price, and soon we were dramatically upside down. A short sale seemed the wisest way for our family to go. The banks were incredibly difficult to deal with, causing delay after delay, and in turn, costing us buyer after buyer, to where it began to appear that it was more likely we would be forced to foreclose than see a short sale through-- and we knew we didn't want to foreclose. Jan and her team took up our case with the banks, and kept on securing new potential buyers. They remained tenacious in the face of a number of disappointments and stonewalls from the banks. And finally, just before it seemed like the hope of a short sale was lost, they helped close the short sale. We are thankful that in this time of tremendous difficulty for our family that they were as tenacious as they were on our behalves, because it would have been easy to give up. Amidst a lot of relatively dehumanizing experiences, they continued to value us and treat us like we mattered, and we are very thankful for that.

You sold our home on Estate Cove Circle for us back in 2004 and we are currently about to move from Colorado to Langley AFB in Virginia.  Back in 2004, you set the gold standard for us in the service you provided as our realtor, and we were wondering if you might be able to refer us to a realtor in our new area of VA.  We're back in the market to purchase and once again are on a fairly short timetable - and so would like a knowledgable and experienced realtor to work with.
